About Muster
Muster started from a simple, familiar problem.
As a creative leader, I’ve spent years hiring freelancers –
often through agents, often without clear visibility of who’s available, and often paying significant fees along the way. Over time, this usually leads to relying on a small group of trusted people, not because they’re the only right option, but because finding alternatives is time-consuming and uncertain.
On the other side, many highly skilled independent professionals struggle with visibility and consistency. Work often comes through word of mouth, agents or platforms that prioritise price over quality – leaving people constantly ‘ringing around’ when contracts end.
Muster exists to bridge that gap.
It brings together the best independent creatives and companies in a way that’s curated, considered and respectful of both sides – focused on quality, availability and fit.
